Acre has been engaged by a global real estate services business to identify a new Associate Director. Joining the management team, you will implement medium to long term business strategy and maintain senior relationships with one of their longest existing clients' in the Middle East. Additionally, you will bring experience of strategy delivery, ideally from the Investment or Real Estate sectors. The opportunity to work for our client will provide you with exposure to cutting edge strategy implementation and working with high-profile clients.
Responsibilities
Leading and developing the successful delivery of the client's international leading sustainability strategy
Advising on the implementation of projects on a number of issues, including human rights, community engagement, sustainable procurement, socio-economic assessment and the client's Net Positive commitments on carbon and water
Manage and build upon existing relationships with senior personnel - at an executive level within client organisations
Delivery of a range of initiatives (including research, policy and framework development) to support short and long-term targets
Being able to challenge clients, through providing insights and future trends and articulating the value of sustainability to businesses
The successful candidate will have significant client and/or stakeholder management (either in-house or consultancy) experience, including working at a senior level to deliver complex solutions and managing different stakeholder expectations.
Skills, knowledge and experience
Proven track record in developing and implementing ambitious sustainability strategies and programmes
Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to influence clients and colleagues
Proven ability to network and build strong client and internal relationships
Exceptional project management experience
Experience working in the Middle East/MENA region would be beneficial but not essential
