Acre is partnering with a highly impactful, boutique sustainability/ESG communications firm based in North America. For over two decades they have been advancing and shaping the field of sustainability/ESG reporting and transparency through their work with some of the world's best-known brands and F100s. The national (and international) need for ESG reporting is growing and we are seeking an Account Director to help meet new demand from Private Equity clients and large public firms.
This passionate, collaborative team is known for being experts in their field, and they have created a unique flexible, supportive, and virtual work environment.
Among other things, they help their clients develop effective ESG reporting and disclosure strategies, undertake industry research and benchmarking, and craft credible and compelling ESG/Sustainability reports and communications.
Standard Responsibilities include:
Leading teams of Project managers, designers, analysts, writers, and editors
Providing clients with practical solutions, creative ideas, and strategic advice for their ESG reporting and disclosure efforts
Writing and editing reports, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Supporting business development efforts
Collaborating and strategizing with colleagues to grow the teams overall reporting expertise and increase impact.
Continuous learning about new trends and developments in the field
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
7+ years of experience as a corporate sustainability/ESG practitioner; agency or in-house communications professional; or consultant with focus on corporate sustainability/ESG reporting and disclosure
Strong understanding of sustainability/ESG trends and drivers
Superb writing and editing skills
Passion for Sustainability
Ability to work in a flat environment with virtual teams
Location:
Remote, based in the U.S.
