Due to an exciting period of growth, GlobeScan is partnering with Acre to work exclusively on their new Associate Director hire in their London Team.

As an Associate Director you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the strategic direction of a mix of corporate and NGO accounts. In this role you will be responsible for line management, finances, new business, organic growth and team leadership.

The successful candidates will have previously worked in a similar consultancy/agency environment with experience or a background in research methods including qualitative and quantitative analysis. Together with this you will have previous experience communicating key sustainability topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with team members to design research, oversee fieldwork, develop reports, and interpret data

  • Present back to senior level clients and lead workshops (e.g. diagnostic and action planning)

  • Lead and manage key global accounts, providing senior counsel and strategic advice to clients

  • Drive organic growth across existing accounts as well as developing new business opportunities

  • Effectively lead, communicate, inspire and engage with the team, providing structure, direction and feedback - including line management of assigned team members

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in developing questionnaires and discussion guides specific to client needs, together with working closely with analysts to develop reports and interpret data

  • Proven track record of project management, including oversight of the strategy, deliverable schedule and budget, as well as providing senior client counsel

  • Experience in successfully growing accounts organically and/or developing new business opportunities, including leading on drafting proposals

  • Proven track record of line managing junior team members, including mentoring and coaching

  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the sustainability landscape including experience in how sustainability drives reputation, what constitutes strong corporate purpose and how to communicate and engage on sustainability issues to a wide variety of audiences .
