Associate - Sustainability Investment Banking

Acre is working with a boutique sustainability and cleantech advisory firm to help them hire an associate for their growing team.

The team has closed multiple transactions across mobility, clean energy, circular economy and other areas in sustainability, and has established itself as one of the leading advisors in the cleantech and sustainability space in Europe. As an associate, you will not only be managing transaction advisory but also originating your own deals.

Reporting into the Managing Partner, you will be responsible for:

​

• Managing origination, client relationships and execution of deals around capital raising, M&A and strategic advisory

• Preparing investor presentations, financial models and other client marketing documents

• Managing a full transaction process, including well planned investor and buyer engagement throughout a road show, assisting clients in assessing strategic options and careful coordination with other advisers and service providers

• Building sector expertise and a network to promote the firm through publishing research reports, pitching for mandates, organising sector events and attending public conferences

• Provide training and support to other members of the team, particularly in terms of transaction process and internal analytical models and tools

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in corporate finance / investment banking/ consulting, experience in cleantech/sustainability strongly preferred but not a must-have

• Excellent financial modelling and pitch preparation skills

• Experience with strategy, problem solving, commercial analysis

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting

• A genuine passion for cleantech and sustainability
