SOS is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Singapore. You will be a self-motivated, sustainability-focused person with a solid track record and network in the property and construction industry to expand the Singapore business. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be leading a team that includes a Redistribution Coordinator and an Account Manager. You will also be working closely with existing clients for client management. Experience working with architecture/ interior design and project management firms is preferred.

In this role, you will be:

  • Responsible for driving the client relationship and business development activities for SOS in Singapore

  • Supporting the regional General Manager in leading the team in Singapore and managing all project pitching activities

  • Participating in client-facing meetings and business development efforts, including cross-selling opportunities across all JEB Group businesses

  • Assisting in the formulation and implementation of business strategies to achieve sales targets

  • Participating in the management of sales plans, contact lists and project databases for SOS

  • Developing and building long-term professional customer relationships with existing, new and potential clients, leveraging JEB Group network

  • Developing and delivering high quality proposal documents and presentations, based on thorough review and understanding of client brief and associated documents

  • Generating leads by market research, identifying and securing meetings with prospective client decision makers and company directors

  • Keeping up to date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends

  • Attending and being actively involved in industry functions, such as association events and conferences (live or virtual) and provide feedback on market developments

Their program enables organizations to maximize their asset's value, benefit their community and make a positive impact on the environment. Their Mission is: to strive to make sustainable asset management simple and easy. Office relocation and renovation generates a huge amount of landfill from equipment that can be reused. SOS identified an opportunity to create a simple and systematic solution to find pathways for these items away from disposal. Their program generates results that are positive, tangible and can be measured.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A proven track record in generating leads and securing projects to ensure consistent business growth and to achieve revenue targets

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in coordination with senior stakeholders, internal departments, and project teams

  • A solid network and connection with project managers, property developers and corporations

  • The ability to solve advanced problems, deal with a variety of options in complex situations and work autonomously

  • Excellent knowledge of commercial property market and key decision makers in Singapore

  • An established sense of market trend and industry dynamics

  • Knowledge of sustainability and circular economy relating to corporate real estate and furniture

  • Excellent command in written and spoken English

  • Technically savvy with solid experience in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

  • Degree in Property Management, Interior Design, Construction or Business with proven success in business development within the commercial property and/or office space sector
