Carbon Analyst Specialist

Do you want to be involved in one of the largest green projects being undertaken in London? The aim is to inject around £90m into decarbonisation projects across the capital with the view of triggering a further £ 500m from public and private investors.

This investment will support over one million tonnes of carbon savings over the lifetime of the project. Lowering the energy use around London by 328,638 MWh a year, equivalent to 85,000 homes.

About the role:

As the Senior Carbon Specialist, you will lead the analysis of climate action projects to decide the best use of the resources available (Green bonds).

You will work with functional bodies and other stakeholders to gather ESG Information, both for new projects and ongoing reporting.

You will oversee the communication and presentation of project progress to senior stakeholders.

You will work with LTL on ESG aspects of green bond issuance and lead on the development of ESG reporting.

Key Experience:

Extensive experience in carbon accounting within a corporate environment. Ideally from a top-tier accounting or environmental consultancy firm.

Experience in developing and reporting on carbon emission reduction pathways/carbon abatement cost curves/climate value-at-risk.

A creative and imaginative approach to problem-solving whilst maintaining excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Experience developing data collection methods and database management. Advanced MS Excel capabilities.
