Acre is working with a global leader in carbon projects and advisory to help them hire a Carbon Footprint Manager. They are a pioneering firm working on some of the world's largest carbon projects and helped develop the Carbon Neutral Protocol. They are now one of the largest carbon advisory firms in the UK, and are looking to further build their team to support their fast growing business. Reporting into the Head of Client Engagements, the Carbon Footprint Manager will manage certifications for their wide range of global clients and will act as a liaison between the external independent GHG assessor and the clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering excellent client service by supporting clients through their GHG assessment, problem-solving data challenges, adhering to tight deadlines while liaising between clients and assessment partner to ensure a smooth process

  • Project management of all GHG assessments including kick off calls, assessment progress tracking, report checking and presenting completed assessments to key clients

  • Critically review GHG reports from 3rd parties and assess their compliance to requirements under various standards

  • Maintain a good understanding of GHG assessment standards and protocols including The CarbonNeutral Protocol, WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol, Life Cycle Assessments and related standards to carbon footprint measurement (e.g. ISO 14064).

The successful candidate:

  • Will have 2+ years of experience in greenhouse gas accounting with knowledge of the various standards

  • Experience in life cycle assessments, GHG auditing or product carbon footprinting will be strongly preferred
