Danone has been paving the way for Nature Performance within its One Planet One Health Vision. As part of the Sustainable Finance team, and in the context of the company's 1,5°C commitment, Acre is pleased to be supporting the company as it looks to appoint a Carbon Performance Manager, willing to make a difference by leading the team and providing carbon metrics, insights and expertise that are key to support global and local transformation and the integration of climate within business and finance strategy & execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Carbon supply chain reporting & performance - 50 % of the time

  • Contributing to the strategic planning process for defining "One Planet" roadmaps and objectives in the next three years

  • Defining and updating reference documents (guides, procedures, etc.) and processes for data collection, calculation, verification and consolidation

  • Training the Local Carbon Master network

  • Administrate reporting system on Carbon reporting (delegation forms, validation forms, calculation formulas)

  • Ensure carbon data quality during consolidation

  • Prepare quarterly carbon landing estimates

  • Perform yearly variance analysis at CBU, WBU, and company level

2. Key contact for Carbon audits with statutory auditors (PwC)2. Communication of annual performance in internal and external extra-financial publications (e.g. CDP Climate Change questionnaire, URD, danone.com website, integrated annual report; questionnaires for ESG investors) - 20% of time

3. Carbon expertise - 15% of the time

  • Answer technical questions of WBU/CBU/C&P on reporting definitions, external standards

  • Perform benchmarks to anticipate evolutions

  • Yearly update and impact assessment of emission factors for scopes 1, 2, 3

4. Carbon product footprint analysis - 15% of the time

  • Development with an external consultant and testing of the carbon LCA tool evolutions

  • Follow up on the impact of projects on Danone company carbon performance

Your profile:

  • You have 3 to 8 years of experience in carbon reporting/carbon audit/carbon advisory, including setting up and updating reporting protocols, training, the practice of GHG Protocol Corporate, GHG Protocol Product, net zero and carbon neutrality frameworks

  • Experience in managing small teams

  • You have a strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment methods (e.g. carbon footprint, LCA, etc.) and risk assessment (TCFD etc.)

  • You are proficient in the use of Credit 360, Enablon or similar software for carbon reporting. An experience as a company user in charge of system testing and implementation is an asset

  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, in English and French. Spanish is an asset

  • Project management skills to drive and manage multiple activities, prioritise, manage time effectively and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work in an international environment
