Advetec is a rapidly growing biotechnology business developing and providing innovative aerobic digestion solutions aimed at waste reduction in a range of industries including the NHS, retail, shopping centres, food industries and the waste management sector.

Advetec's unique, modular solutions help customers significantly reduce the quantity of waste requiring onward transportation, reducing the amount and cost of waste disposal at site level.

Now is a pivotal time for the business, presenting more opportunity and a more enterprising leadership team than ever before. Advetec has partnered with Acre to identify a Chief Commercial Officer to lead this agenda.

You will be responsible for co-creating and driving an ambitious culture to scale the business and enable clients to be market leaders in sustainable waste management.

As the Chief Commercial Officer you will:

  • Create a strategy to develop a world-class sales and marketing team which can deliver aggressive growth targets and create value for the company and enable sustained business growth

  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to identify, approach, and win key accounts

  • Communicate the value proposition through effective proposals and presentations

  • Working in conjunction with the Board to set strategic direction on sales and marketing plan

  • Steer product/engineering teams strategically and objectively to deliver and enhance customer value

As a member of the Executive Team, you will have an impeccable record of success having significant experience in a Sales or Commercial Director role.

You will also be:

  • Financially literate with a strong commercial mindset and an attention to detail

  • A skilled communicator capable of developing strong and trusting relationships with key strategic customers across a range of industries

  • A highly effective team player capable of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, possessing an engaging, energetic and influential management style

  • Data focussed, closely monitoring the team's performance related to KPIs and objectives including pipeline growth, business development and forecast accuracy

You'll have excellent marketing skills to drive and deliver on an objective marketing strategy which dovetails into the overall objectives and vision of the company, including all aspects of digital marketing.

In addition, international sales experience, ideally through licensing channels would be desirable.
