CropLife UK is the voice of the UK plant science industry. Above all, they believe in the essential role of science and innovation in protecting our food, parks, gardens, roads, and railways.

As an established trade association, its members are involved in the development and manufacture of a wide range of crop solutions which are of crucial importance to the cultivation and protection of food crops and also protecting our gardens, infrastructure, and public places. These include the formulation and manufacture of Plant Protection Products (PPPs), biopesticides, agricultural biotechnology and digital and precision agriculture.

Now in a phase of growth and development, you could have the opportunity to join as a Communications and Administration Officer to offer your skills in content creation as well as supporting the wider CropLife team with administrative tasks.

You will also be:

  • Assisting the Head of Policy and Public Affairs with the management of CropLife UK's external image.

  • Drafting and posting social media and web content according to the company's social media strategy.

  • Helping to implement internal and external communications strategies and projects.

  • Providing support to internal teams, including the CEO.

  • Assisting the wider team in research tasks.

This is a unique opportunity to gain a broad breadth of experience in a leading membership organisation, with exposure to senior stakeholders, politicians, and c-suite industry figures.

You will already have:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • An interest in social media strategies and media relations.

  • Working knowledge of various social media platforms, especially Twitter and LinkedIn Creative and innovative.
