Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications & Marketing, WWF International, this role has overall accountability for leading on and delivering across the following:

  • Works with the Communications Leadership Group and the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing in developing the WWF and Earth Hour brands and implementing the strategy

  • Convenes and facilitates Communications planning across the Practices, Leadership Group and country focal points (Community of Communicators).

  • Ensures the Practices and Offices have the overarching communications messages and core materials required to deliver against their plans. The core materials (assets) are all available for the network and are on brand and factually correct

  • Plays a key role in making WWF the go-to organization on nature and the sustainable use of natural resources (for the benefit of people and wildlife). Leads brand development and fosters implementation of a consistent global brand throughout the network. Provides strategic direction to the communications activities of WWF International and the WWF Network. 

  • Works with colleagues across the WWF Network to ensure that WWF is strategic, coherent, and compelling in its engagement of supporters, conservation partners, and other key audiences.
