Sage is on a mission to build a diverse, dynamic and high-performing team of sustainability experts who can support the design and execution of Sage's sustainability vision and strategy.

This role will report directly into the Sustainability EVP with two direct reports, a large indirect team of Sustainability champions (20+) with an opportunity to grow the team further in the future.

Operating at all levels of the organisation, from C-Suite to shop floor, this person will support the EVP's engagement with key external stakeholders and drive the design and execution of the Sustainability strategy, helping Sage become a leader and thought leader in this space.Working closely with the Sustainability EVP liaising with Sage's C-suite, investors and other relevant stakeholders, this role will help shape Sage's vision and ambition on Sustainability.

The successful candidate will support the design of a multi-year strategy and be responsible for designing roadmaps that deliver on Sage's sustainability ambition. What's more, this role will work across all business functions and establishing best-in-class sustainability practices, including building capability in the central sustainability team and across the business.

Added to this will be the responsibility for ensuring that Sage's strategy is clearly defined, up-to-date and focused on Sage's broader organisational goals. This individual will act as a key subject matter expert on sustainability, supporting business units to translate the strategy into divisional strategies and action plans. They will ensure that Sage meets ESG requirements; tailoring plans to stakeholders' expectations and geographies and aiming to improve Sage's ESG credentials.

Finally, this role will support the active engagement of Sage's key shareholders on ESG and act as a thought leader in this space.
