Acre are proud to be partnering with a leading precision manufacturer to recruit an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager based out of their manufacturing plant in Milton Keynes.

As the EHS Manager, you will drive EHS performance on site, ensuring a positive and effective EHS culture is promoted and developed, helping the site to achieve best in class performance. In this role, you will report into the site General Manager with a functional line into the Group Head of EHS.

​

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

​

  • Implementation of EHS strategy as developed in collaboration with the group Head of EHS

  • Advise Senior Site Management on staff issues connected with EHS

  • Achieve and maintain ISO 45001 accreditation

  • Identify and implement programmes to improve performance

  • You will be the Health and Safety expert for any incident investigations, ensuring that all issues are reported, implementing and monitoring corrective actions

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and tenacious individual who has implemented or improved safety cultures within a busy and precision manufacturing environment. You must be able to give examples of these improvements at interview.

The successful candidate will:

​

  • Currently be in an EHS Supervisor or Manager position with a minimum of 5 years of experience

  • Be passionate about EHS and leading positive cultures in a manufacturing environment

  • Have experience with ISO 45001 implementation or management

  • Currently work, or have worked in, a high-risk manufacturing environment

  • Have at least diploma level education in a related subject from NEBOSH/NCRQ/BSC

  • COMAH experience would be an advantage
