Acre is partnered with a market leading Fashion organisation to find an experienced Environmental Sustainability specialist for a Maternity cover contract. Location: London based HQ with a flexible working arrangement for remote working.

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: 1st November 2021

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead their carbon footprinting process, working with multiple teams across the business to create a yearly carbon footprint report in line with the GHG protocol.

  • Create engaging insights to share with teams across the business and drive action on climate change

  • Track and manage progress against the GROUP's climate goals and targets, across carbon, energy, water, waste and biodiversity

  • Project manage carbon reduction (and other environmental projects) projects from logistics, to product, to packaging

  • Project manage internal and external engagement activities, engaging employees, partners and customers in reducing their carbon footprint

  • Manage all external communications related to environmental impacts, ensuring all data is reliable and up to date

Experience required:

  • Experience working in a sustainability role in the fashion or tech industry

  • Have experience and detailed knowledge in carbon footprinting either in house or working
    with a third party

  • Great project management skills

  • Excellent stakeholder & relationship management skills

  • Ability to define priorities and make work plans

  • Good Excel skills (you can build and maintain complex spreadsheets)

  • Passionate about the ability of the business to promote positive change
