Our client, a Global Investment Management group, is seeking an ESG Data Analyst to join their Sustainable Investing team. The role will require managing and overseeing the organisation's ESG data assets, and monitoring and authenticating key ESG data metrics. Part of the role will be to assist with creating and implementing ESG data frameworks.
They are looking for someone with a mathematical background coupled with data management experience, specifically ESG data. Experience with extracting data using SQL would be ideal.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of ESG data requirements
Extracting data using SQL via various data sources
Create a structure to oversee, document and resolve a wide variety of ESG data validation
Communicate with various teams and business stakeholders
Produce the required metrics and reporting to monitor the quality of the data
GAP Analysis and impact assessment for new and existing data platforms when methodology changes
Key Experience:
Experience in managing ESG Data
Data analysis skills
Mathematics background and interest in investment practices
Strong collaborator with great stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Demonstrates independent and strong decision-making skills
This role will be a 12-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start.
