For Modulaire, an innovative modular building provider, we are looking for a regional sustainability manager for the German Business Unit.

What you'll be doing

ESG is a mission-critical theme within Modulaire - they have recently appointed a global ESG Director to accelerate Modulaire's efforts. For every regional business unit, Modulaire is attracting a regional ESG manager to further develop and implement the strategic ESG & sustainability agenda.

As an ESG manager, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the Business Unit work for delivering on the Group ESGS strategy and targets, driving towards the Loops within Loops Model (Circular Economy);

  • Lead the local ESGS Forum and lead delivery of the local ESGS strategy aligned to the group strategy;

  • Deliver ESGS programmes and initiatives within the Group Strategy ensuring they are managed, tracked, and delivered on time;

  • Support colleagues across the business to drive towards a Loops within Loops model, minimising carbon emissions, conserving resources and sourcing sustainably, supporting design to eliminate waste and managing waste sustainably.

  • Important focus areas will be:

  • Waste Reductions and Water Reductions.

  • NetZero Strategy.

  • Centralisation of ISO 14001 and 50001.

Who you are

You have some experience in sustainability, ESG and reporting and are looking to make your next step in an international company with serious ambitions. Concretely, you have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a sustainability/ESG manager or closely related;

  • Preferably experience in a B2B environment;

  • A fundamental knowledge of sustainability/ESG, combined with experience in delivering ESG projects;

  • Good working knowledge of ESG goals and regulations;

  • A results-oriented and hands-on mindset;

  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual abilities;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills;

  • Fluency in German and English;

  • Strong project management skills.
