ESG Manager - Private Equity

We are working with a market leader in Private Equity who are looking to hire an ESG Manager to work collaboratively with the Head of ESG. The candidate will be integral to all areas of ESG across the business, including on-boarding new portfolio companies, working with the LPS team in providing relevant information to investors, internal and external communications, producing and analysing reports. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to work autonomously and the ability to be flexible & adaptable within a fast-moving environment.

Example of Responsibilities:

• Review ESG diligence screen recommendations and other ESG related pre-investment due diligence information.

• Rollout of systematic requirements to all portfolio companies on a go forward basis

• Take eventual responsibility for the updating of the semi-annual portfolio company ESG report

• Design and implementation of new initiatives as a result of internal and external stakeholder requests and as the ESG roadmap for 2022 and beyond, evolves

Candidate Requirements:

• Good knowledge of the main Environment, Social and Governance considerations is necessary

• Autonomy, learning capabilities, ability to take long term views and strong ethics are important for the role

• Experience within a private equity is highly advantageous

• Experience working in a global team
