Acre is working in partnership with one of the UK's leading sustainability services providers. The organisation has quickly risen to be one of the UK's leading boutique sustainability firms, resulting in the immediate requirement for a brand-new Financial Analyst to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a financial analyst who is eager to make an impact in a rapidly growing sector. You will work with a range of national and international clients to deliver net zero strategies and enable zero carbon futures.
Supporting the development of our clients investments toolset, and in particular the Carbon Footprinting offering
Develop data sources, models and analytical tools to strengthen carbon footprinting and ESG analysis tools for financial services clients
Gain access to research sources and develop relationships with external agencies including regulators, research analysts, rating agencies and issuers to better understanding ESG and carbon accounting requirements as they pertain to financial market participants
Develop and maintain a framework of climate-related financial industry standards, such as PCAF and TCFD, and mapping of carbon footprinting methodologies, metrics and requirements
This is an exciting opportunity for a financial analyst who's passionate about making a difference. 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst or similar role
CFA, ACA and CIMA or progress towards the designation and/or qualifications in sustainable investing will be looked upon favourably
Previous analytical experience (this may be from an investing or a consulting background)
An interest in ESG, particularly climate change and carbon footprinting would be a significant
