Reporting to the Global Sustainability Product Leader, you will have the opportunity to develop and evolve the company's approach toward sustainability, gradually taking on more responsibility and eventually leading sustainability for Beckers as part of the current Director's succession plan.

Our client, Beckers is seeking to hire a Global Product Sustainability Manager, to lead the development and implementation of the Product Pillar of the global Sustainability Strategy.

This role will be an integral link between the development, marketing and commercial operations teams, covering all sustainability-related matters across the current and future product portfolio.​

To excel in the role, you will bring:

  • A working knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and Product Environmental Footprints

  • Experience in sustainability-related value chain dynamics and in developing and improving sustainability strategy

  • An in-depth knowledge of social and environmental sustainability themes and their impact at a global level

  • Strategic thinking and excellent influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to easily build effective and transparent relationships

  • An appetite to present at forums and conferences on sustainability matters

Beckers is looking for a future leader who brings technical expertise but can also engage with internal stakeholders to communicate and embed sustainability throughout the organisation.

What you' will be doing:

  • Leading the "Products with Impact" stream alongside the Director for the Coil Coating and Industrial Coating businesses, ensuring commercial activities are aligned with 2030 sustainability goals

  • Guiding research and innovation projects to ensure alignment with Beckers 2030 sustainability goals.

  • Designing and implementing tools and KPIs as necessary to measure and communicate sustainable development across the organisation

  • Coordinating working groups on sustainability topics to engage key internal stakeholders and teams on sustainability and embed solutions into product development

  • Training staff and supporting local businesses and their customers on all product sustainability-related matters
