G's Fresh is a vertically integrated 'grower to marketing' company, specialising in fresh produce supply in the UK, the EU, and Northern America. With the purpose of improving working lives across their supply chain, in this role, you will be delivering on topics including human rights and ethical compliance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively direct an effective ethical trade programme, enhancing the organisation's values and prioritising worker wellbeing.

  • Being a source of leadership, insight, advice, and guidance for the ethics team, who you will be managing and mentoring to reach their own performance goals and standards.

  • Create innovative methods of driving the Group Human Rights strategy, evaluating and reviewing the programmes as they progress, remaining in line with G's Fresh wider motivations and values of Trust, Efficiency, Quality, Expertise and Can-do.

  • Deliver an understanding and widespread knowledge of the business' ethical strategy, policies, and procedures throughout the G's Fresh supply chain and with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Instil and maintain a culture of ownership, adherence and transparency across the group, and recognise room for improvement to sustain G's Fresh market-leading reputation.

Who you are:

  • A seasoned ethical trade, compliance and social sustainability professional who has had exposure to managing wide-scale programmes. You will have also managed and developed audits and programmes on robust auditing.

  • Knowledgeable and up to speed with the relevant UK and international employment law, authorities and agreements, essential for a large-scale ethical trade function.

  • An organised professional who thrives in an environment where you can influence complex topics with a solution-oriented mindset.
