Are you an ambitious sustainability professional who is looking for an opportunity to own, shape and deliver a sustainability strategy? Perhaps you're part of a larger sustainability team, with limited opportunities to step up and lead?

Fourfront Group, a boutique design and build group specialising in the creation of sustainable workspaces is growing quickly and is looking to hire its first sustainability leader. In this role, you will build on the existing foundation to create and embed a best-in-class strategy across all companies within the group.

As Group Head of Sustainability, you will report to the Chairman and will work closely with leadership to help embed sustainability as an attitude throughout every aspect of the group. You will also be responsible for growing a dedicated internal team of specialists as sustainability becomes fundamental to future business strategy.

Day to day, you'll spend your time:

  • Creating and then implementing the Group's sustainability strategy, ensuring environment and sustainability ambitions are embedded across all projects and with all clients

  • Defining and establishing data-driven environmental goals, actions, milestones and metrics

  • Working with functional leadership to ensure the Group is a leader in sustainability performance within the workspace sector, whilst also helping to raise awareness of and grow the Group's profile externally

  • Owning and promoting innovation in areas such as waste, energy, water, responsible procurement and modern slavery

To succeed, you'll need:

  • Practical sustainability knowledge gained within the construction, design & build, fit-out, refurbishment or workspace sectors

  • The ability to influence and drive change at all levels within an organisation

  • An understanding of current legislation and industry best practices with regards to energy and carbon management

  • An understanding of the UK Green Building Council approach to Net Zero

  • Knowledge and previous experience of BREEAM, LEED, SKA or WELL assessments

In return for your skills, you'll be met with a competitive salary and a discretionary bonus. You'll also be joining a rapidly growing business that operates in the exciting workspace sector, where you can grow and lead a team.
