British Airways is looking for a Head of DE&I who will work with the People and Sustainability teams, creating and leading the inclusion aspects of the People strategy and supporting the people pillar of the Sustainability strategy.

​

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing delivery plans to meet our transformational D,E&I goals

  • Providing expert guidance on material DE&I People and Sustainability aspects to advise on strategies, policies, and actions

  • Engaging, influencing, and inspiring colleagues in all aspects of the D&I agenda

  • Working in close collaboration with the People team on operationalising and implementing the DE&I strategy

  • Coaching and facilitating the development of senior leadership teams on D&I

  • Creating a compelling vision of how DE&I contributes to business performance and colleague engagement

  • Building awareness and understanding of sustainability and D&I whilst improving performance towards diversity targets and driving culture shift across BA

As Head of DE&I, you will use your passion and expertise to facilitate self-awareness and insights and build a pace of cultural change that enables a business partnering team, committed to action and delivery.

You will also have:

  • Experience in creating and delivering effective DE&I programmes with measurable impact in a large organisation

  • Proven leadership skills that can empower a team to be the best they can

  • A depth of understanding of best practice including the different regulatory and cultural implications of a global environment

  • A growth mindset continually seeking opportunities to innovate and improve

  • A strong background in delivering D&I strategy, cultural and strategic change at scale in a large organisation
