An IPO is potentially on the horizon in the coming years, and this role will lay the foundation for reporting on ESG as a publicly listed company.

  • Create a roadmap to define Mileway’s current sustainability features within the portfolio

  • Supporting external communication to investors and stakeholders on material developments in the fund's ESG performance and credentials

  • Establish an ESG Committee to ensure bottom-up adoption of ESG best practices across the organization

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for driving Mileway’s sustainability strategy. With the support of the Executive team and the recently appointed Senior ESG Manager, you will further define baselines, ambitions and set targets for the short and midterm and manage reporting. You will work directly with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leadership, core investor Blackstone and regional teams across the globe.

What you will bring

  • Your excellent industry credentials. You have extensive demonstrable experience working with corporate C-suite and investors to build consensus on leading-edge sustainability initiatives. You are experienced in business and operational transformations

  • Adaptability and an instinct for what works. You will be building a program within the context of a fast-growing and evolving international business that you'll grow alongside

  • Your team attitude. You bring energy and desire to lead, inspire, drive processes, and positively influence those around you

  • Your collaborative approach. You know how to work with and get buy in from diverse stakeholders, and ideally, you will already have done so in an international company

  • Excellent communication skills. You can communicate up and down the organization and with external stakeholders. Your English is fluent, and an additional language is an advantage

  • Real estate experience is a plus, or experience in a related field like construction or logistics
