As the Head of Operational Excellence, you will work closely with both the Support Services and Construction & Development divisions to help deliver the RES global 'Future State' execution programme.


You will be responsible for:

  • Developing a high-level, company-wide framework which is simple to understand, clear and consistent

  • Working with existing functional and operational leads to ensure quality is embedded within the divisional culture and its strategic importance with respect to delivering client-focused results is both understood and applied

  • Using existing forums and capability to develop a communication and education programme that ensures personnel take ownership and personal accountability for the standard of work

  • Developing clear and useable systems and processes for continuous improvement

  • Creating an approach to ensure the practice of effective international collaboration, peer evaluations and change management

  • Working with Key Account Managers to develop an approach to measure how RES is perceived in delivering operational excellence globally


To succeed, you'll need:

  • Knowledge of quality management, business performance and management systems in a complex organisation

  • Experience working in the construction, utilities, renewables or manufacturing sectors

  • Knowledge of the concepts of change management and continuous improvement

  • Strategic thinking and the capability to think from multiple levels, horizons, disciplines, perspectives and regions

  • Experience decomposing and solving challenging business problems, ideally using advanced Excel models
