We have partnered with a leading global real estate investment firm in their search for an experienced renewable energy investment professional to establish their renewables investment business in Europe. The strategy will have an initial focus on solar energy but will later focus on other areas of renewable power generation that complement the firm's real estate portfolio. Our client sees a very positive outlook for this strategy following increased demand for renewable energy following increasing pressures to decarbonise and further automation increasing energy requirements.
As their Head of Renewable Energy Investment of Europe, you will:
Lead, build & manage the Renewables team and encourage the realisation of new opportunities.
Establish brand, track record and reputation, while meeting the financial metrics of the investments and driving profitability of the business unit.
Optimise the current Real Estate Business footprint to accelerate the deployment of Solar energy projects in Europe.
Lead the sourcing and acquisitions of new Renewable's land across Europe to facilitate expansion.
Provide leadership and management of the various 3rd party stakeholders (technical, legal, commercial, and other advisors.
You will need to have:
Proven experience in senior leadership or operational role within an established Solar Energy owner, operator, or end-user.
Pan- European expertise in developing and implementing Renewables energy strategies.
Sound knowledge of energy technologies and the various technical and environmental constraints involved.
Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities including ability to delegate effectively and provide guidance and support as required.
Relevant degree-level education, applicable engineering field a plus.
