Sustainability & ESG is critical in protecting and creating value for Clinigen's investors, clients, communities and employees. They have recently approved a three-year Sustainability & ESG Action Plan and are looking for an experienced Head of Sustainability & ESG to help deliver this, as well as shape and drive their Sustainability & ESG strategy.

The Role:

You'll have experience in Sustainability & ESG reporting, assurance, risk and controls, data governance or other relevant sustainability-related fields or in financial reporting.

With your experience in internal control frameworks and reporting, plus strong business partnering, stakeholder engagement and project management skills, you will be key to: (i) driving and delivering the Clinigen Sustainability & ESG strategy; (ii) helping to ensure our internal and external Sustainability & ESG reporting maintains pace with evolving market practice and legal requirements; and (iii) ensuring Sustainability & ESG is at the heart of Clinigen's business.

Leadership

  • Experience inspiring drive and confidence in others

  • Great judgment, common sense, enthusiasm

Strategy

  • Relevant experience in Sustainability & ESG strategy, transformation roadmaps and policy setting

Governance

  • Helping to establish an enduring internal reporting of Sustainability & ESG performance, including regular internal forecasting and planning processes for non-financial metrics to ensure Clinigen meet their commitments and targets

  • Experience of EHS and Compliance Management Systems

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partnering with many different teams across the business to embed rigour in their processes and controls and driving Sustainability & ESG performance enhancement across Clinigen's

  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation and project management skills

Reporting

  • Managing the continued development of Sustainability & ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials. Covering legal compliance, risk management, statutory and internal reporting of energy efficiency, water use, waste and recycling, sustainable procurement, social and governance

  • Understanding of Sustainability & ESG standards, for example, but not limited to GRI, SASB, TCFD etc.
