Acre is pleased to be working with one of Europe's largest asset managers to identify a Head of TCFD to help align the Group's commitment to net zero by 2050 and invest for a greener and more sustainable future. In this newly created role reporting to the Group Chief Sustainability Officer, this individual will lead the identification and quantification of climate risks to the Group while embedding governance, risk metrics and frameworks into the strategy to help pave the way for a low- carbon economy.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the group's work on climate risk, working very closely with colleagues across the organisation, in particular finance and risk

  • Deliver the recommendations of the TCFD and related regulator expectations on climate-related risks, and lead the TCFD framework encompassing governance, strategy, risk management & metrics

  • Establish transparent and effective framework for the identification, assessment and management of climate-related risks and opportunities

  • Develop approach for climate scenario analysis and evolving metrics and targets framework to measure and manage potential impacts of climate-related risks and opportunities

  • Clear, comprehensive and high-quality internal and external climate reporting framework, including publishing annual TCFD report and updates on internal and external websites

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Group Executive team on climate-related risk issues to support business priorities

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Inclusive and collaborative approach, able to engage others on a vision and gain buy in to achieve results, developing great working relationships across a broad network of internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to think strategically and see the big picture, combined with a relentless focus on performance and delivery

  • Hold a good understanding of current and emerging climate risk management practices, including TCFD and related regulator expectations in the finance sector

  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the Group's strategy and risk management approach and recommend how sustainable business can be aligned and integrated
