Acre is working with a London and South East housing association on a health & safety team transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business to add value in ensuring they deliver an excellent experience, safely to all their customers.
You will assist the Health & Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining health & safety throughout the housing and neighborhoods part of the organization. You will advise and support managers and staff on all health & safety matters relating to work activities, take part in completing and producing reports and statistics, work closely while liaising with all departments to facilitate co-oration of the service, and help communicate the Group's health & safety policy.
You will ideally have experience in the social housing sector, and have knowledge and experience of conducting audits and safety inspections. Experience providing advice and guidance on health & safety law, with the ability to persuade and negotiate with critical stakeholders, internally and externally. A NEBOSH general certificate is also required for this position.
