Impact Analyst

Our client, a leading global emerging markets-focused in impact funds, is searching for an Impact Analyst to support their African investment team and drive impact across their portfolio.

The role focuses on impact measurement and cross-portfolio impact management, and value creation, so it is an excellent opportunity for an experienced impact professional to deploy their skills across the investment process.

​

Responsibilities:

• Impact and ESG measurement and collection across the investment portfolio, and then report to Investor Relations, Investment teams, Communications and LPs.

• Drive Impact value creation projects within portfolio companies, connecting with expert networks as appropriate.

• Engage with the investment team to perform Impact and ESG due diligence on investment opportunities.

• Support the impact head in maintaining the firm's thought-leading position within the impact investment space.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a related field, e.g. consulting, banking, private equity, asset management, insurance or investment research.

• A deep understanding of a range of impact themes and measurement frameworks

• Familiarity with developing or emerging markets and the nature of company operations in these markets.

• Experience administering databases or cloud-based data management systems and familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.

• Comfort being in an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing organisation.
