Impact & ESG Senior Associate

We are working with a premier investment firm, focused on African Impact and PE funds, that have a diversified pan-African portfolio across 20+ countries. They specalise in identifying established and growing companies based on innovation and digital transformation.

What to expect

The senior associate is an exciting and newly created position giving the successful candidate the opportunity to lead across various ESG DD projects and monitor these companies from Pre investment through to exit.

Example of responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of IESG due diligence projects across a wide range of sectors, including screening, review of IESG DD reports and feedback to IESG specialist

• Preparing clear and succinct ESG due diligence reports, including ESG Action plan

​

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 4 years experience in a Impact / ESG Role in a consultancy or Investment house

• Experience or interest in emerging markets (or Africa specifically) would be advantageous

• Demonstrable experience of undertaking ESG due diligence across a wide range of sectors, including data room reviews, site visits and reporting for purchaser- and vendor-driven projects

• Ability to frequently travel
