Interim Carbon Project Manager

We are working with a construction company looking for a Carbon Project Manager to join their team on a freelance basis.

You will be focusing on managing the delivery of Net Zero Carbon initiatives, overseeing the carbon reduction programme and project manage the initiatives. If you are someone with a strong project management background, with a technical competence around carbon data and reporting requirements along with energy management, then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver carbon reduction initiatives by liaising with the team and relevant workers

• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to manage tasks being delivered

• Oversee the implementation of energy management strategies from a programme management perspective

• Support the transition to hybrid Scope 3 reporting

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven project management experience

• Collaborative approach and ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Experience in carbon management, sustainability, or energy management within any industry

• Strong understanding of Net Zero Carbon strategies
