To enable them to reach their ambitious sustainability goals such as 100% net-zero emissions within their own operations by 2030, Ted Baker is looking for a Climate Specialist on an interim basis, to manage and implement the climate strategy across all their operations. This position can be part-time for circa 4-6 months.

The interim Climate Specialist has responsibility and accountability to uphold adherence and compliance with all Environmental, Social and Governance in all workspaces - this includes UK Head Office, UK&EU Stores & Concessions. You'll be expected to manage energy, water, and waste data, product data, analyse current performance and work with key internal and external stakeholders to make continual improvements with the necessary autonomy to drive the expected impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of Ted Baker's Climate Strategy. Within this, you will produce annual climate plans that ensure alignment to ESG and the wider Ted strategy.

  • Act as the 'go to' person when it comes to advising on the implementation of existing and emerging reporting frameworks.

  • Chair the internal carbon steering groups and provide regular progress.

  • Responsible for coordinating carbon disclosures throughout the group.

  • Develop carbon data governing policies and partnering with Senior Leadership Team to implement these measures.

  • Champion carbon reduction successes externally and internally and contributing towards climate/planet content in the annual report.

You will already have:

  • Specialist experience in the development and delivery of carbon management programmes within a global organisation.

  • Established your ability to influence and engage management, and communication skills.

  • Experience of TCFD, CDP, GHG reporting.

  • Excellent project management skills.
