Interim Sustainability Manager - Construction -London

£300 per day - INSIDE IR35 - 12 month contract

Acre are delighted to be working with an iconic British Real Estate, construction, and civil engineering business to support them with growth in their Sustainability team.

​

We are looking for an interim Sustainability Manager to join them on an immediate basis to support on their largest current project. This is a 12 month contract, on a day rate of £300 per day inside IR35.

​

Your role:

You will be responsible for delivering sustainability through project developments, whilst implementing high sustainability performance targets for projects in the organisations project pipeline.

​

Your main responsibilities will include contributing to the overall development update and maintenance of their EMS, to support delivery of the long-term sustainability strategy for the group.

​

You will be involved in areas such as environment management plans (EMPs), Environmental Risk Register, Construction Phase Environmental Management Plan and Site Waste Management Plan.

​

What do you need?

• Prior experience working on Sustainability Construction projects.

• In depth experience of sustainability implementation programs is essential.

• First hand experience with fast track design and construction projects is crucial, for example involvement on projects which achieved a high standard of BREEAM, LEED or Code of Sustainable homes.

• Strong knowledge and experience with BREEAM and other EMAS, ISO14001 and considerate constructor's scheme.
