Acre is delighted to be working with an innovative FMCG drinks business that require short term immediate support in their Sustainability team, to bridge the gap on work around circular economy and sustainable packaging. This is a 2-3 month interim assignment paying a day rate of £500-£800 per day, which will be based remotely.

​

You will be working with the organisation to help design how best to embed sustainability in their product development processes, and working closely with the R&D and Portfolio teams to prioritise opportunities to make their products sustainable by design.

​

You will also explore options for tools / external systems that could support the assessment of sustainability credentials/performance and support the identification of relevant eco-design trends and innovation.

​

You will also start to develop and deliver the roadmap for their packaging policy, ensuring alignment with key teams across the business who will need to work to realise the change.

​

And fundamentally identify further opportunities to embed a circular approach in the organization.

​

The ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Sustainability experience ideally in an FMCG drinks environment.

  • Circular economy experience

  • Sustainable packaging

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
