FLAT IRON is recruiting for an experienced Sustainability Project Manager on a part-time basis to join a newly created team within its organisation.
This position will be project-based to help formalise and make improvements around its sustainability strategy, across its ten restaurants.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a passion for sustainability who wants to work with a growing organisation and help shape their sustainability strategy around its product, the planet and the community for years to come!
The role:
Key areas for the projects will be around the Food Made Good movement, including:
Supporting the CEO with any existing sustainability initiatives while aiding the business to go from 'good to great.'
Working closely with the SRA (Sustainable restaurants association.) You will be required to gather and submit relevant data to adopt their framework.
Project Management skills are essential here, with the ability to manage several 'spinning plates.'
With a particular focus on the scheme 'Net Zero now,' you will be experienced in measuring against scopes 1,2 & 3 within the sector.
Restaurants/Food sector experience is preferred; other Consumer sectors may be considered.
You will be solution orientated in your approach with experience working in a fast-paced greenfield environment
Must be eligible to work in the UK as some time in the London office is required
Start date: ASAP/ June 2022; depending on your availability, 2-4 days/ week is advisable depending on workload
Duration: 3-4 months with the potential to extend
