Acre has partnered with a leading global software business to support a global review of existing processes, procedures, and skill sets, to develop a proportionate but ambitious sustainable procurement strategy to support their net-zero commitment.

This is an interim position, likely to last around 3 months on a part-time basis paying a day competitive day rate. Based remotely you will be supporting the global procurement and supply chain function with this project.

The scope of the project should include the following areas:

o Supplier evaluation and selection.

o Ongoing management of/engagement with existing suppliers.

o Method and procedure for calculation of Scope 3 emissions

o Emissions reduction strategy to align with the company's net-zero roadmap.

The engagement will also identify training requirements and if applicable a framework for the delivery of requisite training, and recommendations regarding specific roles which might be required to ensure successful delivery of the strategy.

You will be reviewing their current arrangements for calculating Co2 emissions associated with the businesse's supply chain (scope 3 procured goods and services), as well as providing practical recommendations to improve the breadth of coverage and accuracy of calculation, including resourcing models.

You will also be involved in reviewing their current arrangements for identifying, prioritizing and assessing their supplier's management of sustainability risks. Providing practical recommendations for improvement arrangements for both existing and new suppliers as part of their procurement and vendor management processes, including resourcing models.

The last part of the project involves designing a supplier engagement programme that enables the organiastion to drive developments in the above deliverables.
