The International Energy Sustainability Sales Manager sits within the International Sales Team, which is one of the fastest growing, innovative and dynamic teams within the Group. You will be targeting both large and multinational organisations headquartered in the EMEA Region, focused on building solutions within the domains of sustainability, energy supply and energy demand, operating alongside the sales managers working across the EMEA division.

Given the target segment, the role would be a great fit if you have strong sales (farmer mentality), climate change, renewable and decarbonisation experience in engaging with high-level management, working PPA concepts, and work on engineering projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strong motivation in understanding the customer needs and the company's global services and software portfolio. Based on this understanding, you will identify and qualify opportunities and address optimisations and approaches in communications

  • Focus on Business Development for development of opportunities and generating business leads

  • Cross functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams, on ways to continuously improve offerings and go-to-market strategies by developing account plans and sales proposals.

  • Contribution to support clients and understand and address their needs in order to the EMEA market

  • Optional national and international travel

Key Requirements:

  • More than 2 years experiences in Sales, Business Development or Consultancy

  • A track record of successful lead generation and delivering new business.

  • Experience in consultative selling within the services industry (Sustainability, Energy, Renewables, Climate Change

  • Nurturing experience, demonstrating a track record of consistently achieving sales targets in a high-pressure environment

  • Fluent or Native in German, and additional English

  • Location is in the DACH region
