A global research and consulting firm are seeking a Senior Analyst for their London office to provide financial institutions with unbiased guidance and insights.

The role will focus on in-depth research into the asset and wealth management industry with a focus on trends across product, distribution, strategy and sales.

The firm provide reports and forecasts to aid the investment management sector with commercial decision making.

You will lead projects with a blend of industry knowledge, original research, data analysis, qualitative and quantitative methods to bring perspective to current and new market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as project lead and primary author for research content related to the European asset management industry

  • Build and develop relationships with business leaders and executives at distributors (e.g. banks, private banks, IFA networks etc)

  • Conduct ongoing qualitative and quantitative research methods related to key themes

  • Manage report and project deadlines

  • Work with team members to review and provide strategic consultative reports to the asset management industry

  • Use new and existing sources to create presentations relevant to qualitative findings

Key Experience:

  • Experience in the asset management industry (product development, product management, market intelligence and strategy functions) OR in distribution-related analytical functions (fund analyst, fund or manager selection, platform management)

  • In depth and detailed knowledge of various asset classes, mutual funds, ETF's etc.

  • Proven analysis and written skills

  • Ability to create data, identifying long-term trends, and providing commentary on relevant industry issues

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data manipulation

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge or familiarity with Broadridge and Morningstar databases a plus
