Acre is working with an impact driven private markets firm focused on Africa (approx. $3bn AuM) seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join its team.

Working closely with the fundraising team, this individual will be responsible for the development and execution of investor materials crucial to fundraising, internal and external stakeholder engagement and wider communications. The organisation has a reputable brand investing in the space, with legacy of integrating ESG into the process since its inception.

Package:

  • Basic Salary | Min. £65,000+ (negotiable) + discretionary bonus

Office:

  • Based in London

  • Hybrid Working of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH

Experience Sought

  • You will have demonstrable experience in within the asset management industry with a preference for private markets; formerly within the Investor Relations team or at a placement agent is a plus

  • Experience in interfacing directly with senior internal and external stakeholders as well as with investors on fundraising and IR-related endeavours.

  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with strong financial literacy to be able to interpret and explain performance. You must be comfortable presenting.

  • Strong project management skills with a strong eye for detail

  • Prior experience drafting presentations, pitchbooks and other marketing materials

  • Fluency in French a plus

  • Passion for the sector especially; preferably with a focus on Africa

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing presentation materials for existing and prospective investor discussions, driving key deliverables to completion, and participating in various forums including AGMs and LPACs

  • Initiate research to target potential new investors for business development opportunities and help prepare briefing pack and agenda

  • Draft, create and coordinate presentations, submit online applications and awards for industry partnerships, gather industry data and research offering the best representation for the firm across its market and for its stakeholders

  • Support the firm's marketing and communications strategies and manage completion and coordination of press releases, deal and exit announcements, deal cards, website updates, social media updates and other communication channels updates

  • Organisation of investor meetings, and production of investor focused updates for broad external distribution, and punctual, accurate and informative responses to inbound requests

  • Additional functions include tracking and monitoring the fundraising process and creating, editing and updating data across marketing communications efforts (due diligence, conferences, and roadshows)
