This is a strategic role working for a highly liquid and fast-growing organisation helping to evolve and scale the business from an Investor Relations and fundraising perspective. Following the successful launch of their first fund in February 2021, they are now seeking to bolster the Investor Relations team before their next product launch. The primary focus of the role is to support fundraising activities as well as building new and maintaining existing relationships with investors for the business and for the investment products due to launch.

The team strategically identifies potential investors that are mission-aligned with the various products the business incubates, and then works to secure their investment, and successfully manage the relationship throughout the product lifecycle (from first close to exit).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the senior team and internal stakeholders to create the fundraising strategy for incubated products, and the capital raising strategy for future investment rounds at the corporate level

  • Craft the company's messaging for the investor community including marketing materials, quarterly reports and calls, investor presentations, roadshows and thought-leading content focused on key impact investment and industry themes

  • Build a pipeline of prospective investors for each new incubated product, including both new and existing investors, leveraging your network for targeted introductions where applicable

  • Maintain and grow your personal networks with institutional investors, family offices and high net worth individuals that are mission-aligned with our products

  • Regularly and accurately communicate with investors to drive understanding of the business' strategy, results, expectations and business developments, providing hands-on support to the existing investor base as needed

  • Develop a team to deliver the quarterly reports process and IR Calendar for existing investors and collaborate with the executive team to execute (Quarterly IR and Impact Reports, Quarterly Calls, …)

  • Develop and maintain robust understanding of business drivers and metrics; identify/track key themes and topics from investor feedback to inform our team and executives on emerging trends

  • Conduct competitive and strategic analysis on the business, its peers, and the industry to help keep management aware of the markets and investor perception.

Experiences sought:

  • Demonstrable leadership experience in investor relations experience in-house with a fund manager, at a placement agency or another similar environment

  • Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors or family offices with a deep investor network across EMEA

  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate strategy and discuss broader market trends

  • Demonstrated relationship building skills, able to confidently manage relationships with senior professionals internally and externally

  • Proven track record of successfully reporting quarterly results, leading/project managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and multitasking with ease

  • Ability to perform in a start-up environment with a problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset. Takes ownership for outcomes, a self-starter, and is personally accountable for results

  • Demonstrated commitment and value alignment to the business and to impact investing

This is a truly unique opportunity to be part of the growth story of a dynamic and creative organisation taking an innovative approach to utilise the power of investment to create social impact at scale.
