The Junior Sales Manager sits within the Regional Sales Team, which is one of the fastest growing, innovative, and dynamic teams within the Group. You will be targeting both large and multinational organisations headquartered in the DACH Region, focused on building solutions within the domains of sustainability, energy supply and energy demand, and operating along-side the country manager working across the DACH division.

Given the target segment, the role would be a great fit if you already have some commercial experience in engaging with high level management, sales hunting, and nurturing capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strong motivation in understanding the customer needs and the company's global services and software portfolio. Based on this understanding, you will identify and qualify opportunities and address the appropriate approach to meet the sales targets.

  • Hunting and self-generation of business leads and opportunities.

  • Cross functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams, on ways to continuously improve offerings and go-to-market strategies by developing account plans and sales proposals.

  • You will contribute to the development of an effective social selling brand and support the amplification of the division's content through social media, webinars, and other digital thought leadership channels.

  • Maintain prospect (CRM - Salesforce.com) database information.

  • Optional national and international travel

Key Requirements:

  • Higher education degree in a relevant field.

  • You have 1 - 2 years' sales experience and a track record of successful lead generation and delivering new business.

  • Experience in consultative selling within the services industry (SaaS and/or energy supply is a big plus).

  • You are a self-starter; able to combine client needs with the company's solutions to achieve performance goals.

  • Strong communication skills and self-assured approach towards stakeholder engagement and management.

  • Proactive and team player attitude, with the capabilities to build a strong network within your target segment.

  • Fluent in German and English with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment, CRM systems (salesforce.com or equivalent).

  • Willingness to travel which may be necessary to support sales activities.
