We are working with one of Europe's leading family offices to source a senior individual to run their Private Equity portfolio. They operate as an 'institutional quality' investor and have consequently built a solid track record in significantly outperforming benchmarks. The investment mandate has a focus on developed markets and covers the majority of available private equity strategies, including certain private credit strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and researching new Private Equity investment opportunities for the firm in a disciplined and systematic fashion.
Performing due diligence on alternative investment managers and funds.
Hosting regular and effective alternative asset managers meetings to help ensure annual returns targets are achieved.
Conducting monthly meetings reporting on the performance, outlook and strategy of the firm's private equity mandate.
Experiences Sought:
Demonstrable experience of successfully managing investment for an asset owner, investment manager, bank or private equity fund
At least ten years' experience in allocating assets to Equity or debt funds in private markets
Master's degree preferably complemented with a CFA/VBA and/or CAIA designation
Extensive knowledge and understanding of illiquid investment strategies
Analytical skills with attention to detail, strong team player with critical, curious and flexible mind-set
