Compassion in World Farming believes that everyone has the right to healthy food that does not involve cruelty, does not involve suffering, and does not destroy our planet.

As the internationally leading farm welfare charity, they collaborate with some of the world's biggest food companies, all on the mission to drive towards an ethical and sustainable food supply.

Now in a phase of growth and development, they are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and implement a digital communications programme to support the promotion and implementation of the European Chicken Commitment (ECC).

You will also be:

  • Managing and creating content for the Better Chicken website and developing assets and digital/social media campaigns to promote the ECC.

  • Producing a range of resources to help companies build the business case for and knowledge of higher welfare chicken.

  • Creating a range of shareable assets for compassions corporate food industry partners to use to help build awareness of and uptake of higher welfare chicken.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager of the Better Chicken Project, you will play a crucial role in designing, advising, and delivering on Compassion's internal and external marketing and communications strategy with their partners and the wider farming industry.

You already have:

  • A background in digital/social media marketing.

  • A proven knowledge of managing a consumer marketing communications strategy.

  • The ability to develop and deliver digital/social media communications and campaign assets.

  • Experience in managing external agencies, including writing briefs and managing budgets.
