Acre is working with a renowned property developer and owner who is looking for a Net Zero and MEP Engineer to support its sustainability team. You will assist in the understanding of the emissions and climate risk exposure across the different business units. This will include GHG reporting and baselining, modelling of targets and SBTi requirements, and developing onsetting and offsetting policies. Along with their expertise, the successful postholder will be required to come from an MEP background.

This is a two-year fixed-term contract, with a flexible working pattern based in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the status of delivery of net zero targets and strategy and reporting appropriately

  • Developing business trajectory and modelling aligned to SBTi commitments and standards

  • Carrying our GHG inventory baselines and developing a business position on scope 3 emissions

  • With an engineering focus, the ability to review trajectories for the company

  • Assisting with carbon accounting and effectively peer review whole life carbon assessments

  • Advising the developmental team on real estate planned works

Personal Requirements:

  • Detailed experience of SBTi commitment and Race to Zero pathways

  • High-level experience in stakeholder management and peer review

  • MEP engineering background
