Acre is pleased to be working in Partnership with Innovation Gateway to identify their new Operations Director. Innovation Gateway is a growing business at the forefront of the delivery of climate action by enabling clients to design and deliver sustainability and innovation programmes for leading global businesses. In this newly created position, reporting into the CEO, you will be accountable for delivering the Innovation Gateway service mission.

You will own all elements of service delivery to clients including the operating model, Innovation Gateway resources, associates and partners, client-side resources, people development, operational performance, and reporting. This is a critical leadership role within the Innovation Gateway team. The responsibilities are dynamic and diverse, and you should not be concerned about getting your hands dirty. Responsibilities include the following:
Some Key accountabilities include;
Defining, refining, and driving the overall programme plans, delivery calendars, milestones, success measures, and quality control approach.
Managing the operations team for outstanding performance, as measured by client feedback and their performance KPIs.
Lead the development agenda for service delivery, whilst participating in strategy and planning sessions with the Board and other relevant parties as appropriate.
Overseeing the delivery of exceptional projects for, and on behalf of their customers and clients.
Supporting and leading the team in planning and resourcing to meet delivery obligations.
Ensuring programmes/projects are delivered on-time and to budget for clients, whilst also identifying further opportunities
Candidates should be hungry to succeed, have a growth mind-set and enjoy engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder, clients, and projects.
Key qualities required:
A passion to help change the world and deliver a more sustainable future
experienced in client facing operations/programme management role within a relevant discipline (sustainability/energy/buildings).
A real interest in innovation and technology and curiosity as to how things work.
Being comfortable operating in the context of ambiguity and an entrepreneurial environment.
Positive and determined in the face of challenge.
