  • Your new team: you'll be joining The Fashion Pact - a global coalition of 87 companies in the fashion and textile sector who have committed to utilising the power of the collective to accelerate change in three environmental areas: climate, biodiversity, and oceans. It's a CEO-led, action-based non-profit organisation funded by its members.

  • Your location: you'll be based in Paris, and your understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape in France will be one of your greatest assets in this role.

  • Your language: you'll be fluent in both French & English; you'll be a strong communicator in each language both verbally and in your written capabilities.

  • Proactively setting up and improving The Fashion Pact's internal administrative policies and operations

  • Owning the operation of The Fashion Pact's bookkeeping, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date for reporting purposes

  • Processing all invoices and owning the operation of the monthly payroll processes

  • Managing IT systems, including start-up support and providers for IT supply and systems

  • Ensuring accurate and up to date membership details and supporting with general member enquiries

  • Supporting with HR topics including managing new starter process, drafting contracts, job description writing as well as formal policies and procedures around annual leave, flexible working, and onboarding

To thrive and be successful in an impact-driven non-profit in the start-up phase, you'll have the following:

  • Prior operations experience in an agile, fast-paced environment, either in a start-up or non-profit setting in France

  • A proactive and positive approach to work, able to adapt and respond to ad hoc requests from colleagues

  • Excellent organisational skills and structured approach to work with an eye for detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, confident with drafting slide decks
