Acre is proud to partner with a leading financial services data provider in an effort to identify a Product Strategist at the Director or Senior Director level with proven commercial and subject matter expertise in ESG. A strong preference will be given to candidates with experience working with investors and banking customer workflows.

In this role, the successful candidate will have deep experience working with cross functional teams and will work closely with groups across the organization including but not limited to Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Market Intelligence in order to influence revenue growth across Data, Research, and Products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with multiple teams across the business including Sustainable Finance, Product, Analytics, Strategic Partnerships, and Business Development teams to create and certify credit related ESG content and products.

    • Develop insights on the competition

    • Create detailed business and use cases for new products

    • Uphold a thorough understanding of industry and firm-wide trends, workflow, and challenges related to ESG

  • Create and manage sales activities related to ESG marketing content and products

    • Create go-to-market strategies around new produce launches and major product revamps

    • Provide Marketing team with USPs, clear value proposition, and detail use cases

    • Work closely with Market Intelligence team to ensure products solve clear news in the market

    • Solicit client feedback

    • Develop and design robust internal training sessions for the sales teams

    • Maintain and add to an inventory of client presentations and pitch decks.

  • Add to the continuous advancement of the firm's ESG product strategy as well as support potential partnerships and acquisition opportunities in regards to ESG

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience within the ESG sector.

  • Proven commercial experience related to ESG product creation and development

  • Deep personal and professional network across the financial services community and a key understanding of market trends and activity

  • Experience working directly with clients, with a strong preference of client workflows as they related to ESG
