Our client is a front-runner for manufacturing biogas plants, with a strong focus on long-term cooperation, independence, and continuous training. They are looking for a talented individual to help strengthen their engineering team and advance renewable energy biogas to protect the climate.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and planning in the field of electrical engineering and automation, especially for process engineering systems in the field of renewable energies (biogas plants)

  • Testing and evaluation of machine controls to ensure the safety and quality of machines and systems (e.g. according to DIN EWN 60204-1 and DIN En 13849)

  • Project planning according to NFPA 79 and UL 508A as well as CSA

  • Some of the tasks are carried out in collaboration with American engineering offices

  • Independent design of control concepts and approval of the components

Key Requirements

  • Training as an electrical engineer, technician or master or as an electrical specialist in PLC technology or comparable with several years of relevant professional experience

  • Very good knowledge of electrical systems and legal regulations / standards (VDE, ATEX, TRBS)

  • Good knowledge of automation technology, bus systems, drive and control technology

  • Good knowledge of Siemens Simatic STEP7, TIA and WinCC flexible is an advantage

  • Very good knowledge of English and German is essential for an international orientation
