Our client is an Impact Fund who have a decade long track record of pioneering investment products, keeping it at the leading edge of ESG and impact.

They are looking for a UKSales Director to lead from the front and to proactively develop relationships with a range of investors such as DFMs, IFAs, Family Offices and Charities/Foundations, and some larger institutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • This role will be to join an established team, with a specific focus on ongoing sales and capital raising for their impact funds to professional investors across the United Kingdom.

  • Maintaining and building relationships with a broad range of professional investors that care about impact investment

  • Play an active role in transitioning direct sales activities towards a high-value-added, sales-orientated approach.

  • Manage and develop your book of investor contacts; talking to and seeing these investors regularly, utilising high-quality research, and, where required, booking up investor meetings with your clients whilst accompanying fund managers to these meetings.

  • Taking on client management responsibilities, creating marketing plans, liaising directly with the client and presenting at board meetings when/if required.

Requirements:

  • Ideally someone with a track record of closing deals with DFMs, IFAs, Family Offices and Charities/Foundations, and some larger institutions.

  • Experience talking to professional and institutional investors in the UK and with established regional and London-based relationships.

  • Someone who is passionate about Impact Investing and the Just Transition, and who can target investors who care about this.

  • A good communicator and personable individual who has substantial experience in direct contact with investors and clients.

  • An ability to be able to write well and articulate points are essential.

  • Proactive and willing to work independently when required but also collaboratively with the rest of the team.
