Rolls-Royce Solutions Berlin develops renewable solutions including energy storage systems that bring reliable and efficient power to remote communities, industrial facilities and commercial buildings, as well as balancing services to the public grid. With its technology, the business supports the grid all over the globe and helps on- & off-grid facilities to move to renewable energy.

Rolls Royce is looking to appoint a Sales Manager who will build relationships and work with customers to support its storage solutions needs.

You will:

  • Manage the entire sales process from the first touchpoint to contract, including activities such as sourcing, system demonstrations, creating RFPs, offer generation and negotiation.

  • Source and contact potential customers and project developers.

  • Analyse leads and project proposals to ensure we focus on the right opportunities and customers.

  • Maintain and grow our Key Accounts and/or Partners.

  • Act as subject matter expert in technical sales discussions with customers.

  • Establish and maintain a structured database of customers to establish a sales strategy built on data and metrics.

You will have:

  • A university degree in energy engineering or a similar field

  • 3+ years experience as a sales engineer, or from a similar role which spans both technical and commercial areas

  • Deep understanding of energy storage, renewable energy systems and/or microgrid systems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Highly independent approach and can-do working style

  • Willingness to travel, also outside of Europe

  • Fluency in English and German.
